3D Animated Videos

BENEFITS

3D animated videos are so beneficial. I'll look at a few reasons why you should use them.

1. Early years and primary students

ENGAGEMENT: Some students don't like maths. Animations can make them pay attention.

Imagine teaching addition of numbers and you use a video of a royal family. The king gives the prince five bananas and the queen gives the princess four oranges and they both placed them in a bowl on a table and then realized they had nine fruits in the bowl. You have taught your students that 5+4=9

2. PRONUNCIATION SKILLS: Children are great imitators. When they watch an animated video with a voice over of you or another child who speaks really well, they will try to mimic the voice and over time they learn.

2. Secondary School students. These set of students are most times neglected because they are seen as matured and do not need such videos. I've been told that they are "big boys and girls" and so do not need 3D animated videos.

I do not agree with that school of thought. To help them, the word APPROPRIATE comes to play. Yes, APPROPRIATE ANIMATION TOOLS.

It is obvious that the animation software that worked for the younger ones might not appeal to these "big boys and girls."

3D animated videos can be used to teach about the circulatory system, the heart.

They will present complicated concepts as simple.

You can also have secondary school students create their own 3D animated videos as feedback on concepts already taught.

How does 3D animation creation benefit you the teacher? Watch out for the next post in this series.
