#PICTURES (ANYTHING GOES)

In the creation of slides for your video lessons, avoid the ANYTHING GOES MENTALITY. It is the mindset that anything is acceptable.

That doesn't apply here. Why? Your sole aim of creating those slides in the first instance is to impart knowledge not scare them aware from the knowledge. I'll answer some questions in this post.

1. How or where can one get attractive pictures to use for the slides?

www.google.com
www.pinterest.com (you can download the app for easy access)
www.freepik.com

There are so many other websites for free stock images but I love sticking to these three.

2. What kind of pictures should I download?
Download pictures related to what you want to teach. For example, I want to teach about transportation- past and present. My first slide background will have a picture of cars, airplanes, ships, etc. Such pictures exist. My text box will be placed on top of this background.

If I'm teaching about the different types in my other slides, I should have a picture of each in them. An airplane in the slide for transportation by air, a car in the slide for transportation by land, etc.

Remember to use pictures sparingly. Don't pack a lot of pictures into each slide. That would distract them.

3. When I insert my pictures, they usually have a white background. How do I remove them?

Upload the picture to www.remove.bg and take the background out. When the white background is removed, your pictures sit nicely in the slides.

As you can see, ANYTHING DOESN'T GO. You need to put in more effort, go the extra mile to turn out amazing videos. If you need me to teach you how to create "charming" videos, send me a DM.
